Vernon Rieta (born December 10, 1949) is an American Kung Fu specialist, actor/stunt performer and artist.

Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Rieta started learning Kung Fu at the age of 11. He has studied in the styles of the five families: mok gar, fut gar, hung gar, choy gar, and lau gar. In addition he has learned choy li fut, paqua, tai chi chuan, monkey, white crane and praying mantis.[1] He then advanced into the career of stunt performer where he performed in such films as Rambo: First Blood Part II, The Golden Child, and Escape from L.A..

His art background has been featured at Louis Pohl Gallery in his native Hawaii.[2] He has been labeled as a man of many hats and has a wide range of talents which shine through in his art work.[3]
